Hello. 雪のNYより久し振りに

Hi I don't know what I'm going to write first. I haven't been writing anything on my blog over two months already. I had the crazy hectic days a whole month in December, 2009. I only had a day off on Christmas day. And I was visiting Japan in January. I had a great time with my family. We cerebrate New Year is one of the biggest holiday than Christmas in Japan. My mother cooked the best traditional new year food I had ever. I hadn't visited Japan for Five years. So I really enjoyed staying there and it was a busy stay. I recovered from a jet-lag now.
It was snowing in NY today. The show storm was coming but if living in city, I didn't feel it doesn't seem the big storm. Anyway, the picture is I took from my studio's window. The snow on the branches is very beautiful.
2ヶ月以上ブログを書けなかったんですが、皆さん、どんな新年を迎えましたか？もう節分も過ぎてしまったんですか。昨年11月半ばから忙しくて、特に12月は狂った様に、毎日睡眠不足で、クリスマスの日だけ、たった一日休んで、1月は日本に用事があって帰国してました。5年振りだったので、忙しい滞在に成りました。でも。家族とのお正月を楽しく過ごしました。母が作ってくれたお正月料理、とっても美味しく頂きました。久し振りだったので沢山の知人や友人と逢いたいと思っていましたが、時間的に無理でした。
今日は雪が振って、冬(雪)の嵐という事でニューヨークの公共の学校は閉校だったけど、あまり積もらなくて、子供達ががっかりしているんじゃないかと思った程でした。都会に住んでると雪の嵐と言ってもそれ程感じられない。木の枝に積もった雪が美しくかったので写真を。私のスタジオの窓から。

More working. 頑張ってます。

This is a third stage of the picture. I made a second plate for a red thread to add on the print. I have two plates for one image. And I worked on the first plate to make more contrast for a whole image and etch the thread's shadow more.
Anyway, I took some pictures of two portraits I recently worked on late week. I'll post them soon.
it's chill in NY. Before going to bed, I should close all windows in my apartment tonight. Good night.
先週のイメージより更にコントラストを付けて、そして2枚目の板の製作。2枚目の板は赤い糸の部分だけエッチングしました。ところで、先週は天気が良く、最近製作していた肖像画の写真を取りました。近日中にアップします。ニューヨークは肌寒くなって来ました。今日は窓を閉めて寝ないと風邪引きそうです。それでは、お休みなさい。

Scissors Series #4. はさみ#4

I've been working on this etching since June. I took this picture of the work in progress in July. I've continued working on it. It's almost finished but I've tried printing out on many different papers. I want to find out which paper is best suited for the image. I'll have a solo exhibition soon soI've been working so hard for it as well as working on a girl's portrait which I finished painting yesterday.I'm going to post it soon. Hope it'll be a nice weather for taking photographs of a few portrait paintings.
このエッチングの写真は7月に撮影したものです。(この写真はまだ製作途中) この作品は､6月から製作を始めました。現在ほぼ完成してますが、どの紙に刷るか、毎日色々な紙に試し刷りをしてます。もうすぐ個展を開催するので、今とっても忙しです。このエッチングと黒人の少女の作品を急いで仕上ているところです。明日、作品の写真を撮る予定にしてます。天気が良い事を祈って...もう寝ます。

The weird clouds. 不気味な雲

I saw very weird clouds today. It's actually yesterday around 8:30Pm. When I get out my studio building, I felt strong bright orange light. They were a mushroom shape or cotton ball of clouds. So weird. It was a kind of scaring.

Anyway, I couldn't post anything almost a month. I've been busy to work on a new project recently.

昨日8:30pm頃外に出たらオレンジ色のどんよりとした太陽光線を感じて、何だか不思議な感じで、空を見上げたら。不気味な雲がマッシュルームかコットンボールの形をしていた。今までに見たこと無い。寒気がする様な感じだった。今晩のニュースで取り上げられていたが、異常気象が創り出したものかと...私は思った。

最近忙しくて全くブログの更新ができません。それから、現在新しいプロジェクトに取り掛かってます。
