The Invitation ｸﾞﾙｰﾌﾟ展のご案内

Hello~! I'm having a group exhibition from September 22 (Wed) to November 20 (Sat) at Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden. It's the 2010 Tri State Competition Winners Exhibition. I exhibit 10 prints (“The Scissor Series”, “The Central Park Series” and "kissing the Universe"). Please join us for the reception on Saturday, September 25 from 1 PM to 3 PM. Click more information
When I delivered my prints at the Museum, the Marple trees are so beautiful in the Japanese Stroll Garden. It just started turning leaves red at Upstate New York now.
現在ハモンド ミュージアムでグループ展を9月22日より開催しています。3つの州のアーテイストのコンペテションが昨年あリその優勝者の展示会です。

ハモンド ミュージアムには、日本庭園があり、先日搬入に行ったらもみじが綺麗でした。でもまだ、アップステート ニューヨークでは､紅葉が始まったばかりでした｡

Won an award! 賞を受賞。

I attended the reception of 67th Annul Audubon Artists Exhibition and won "Marquis Who’s Who In American Art References Award"on Sunday, September 27. It's a bad spot to hang on my print "The Red Thread" I pointed out in a picture but I can't complain because of received the award. The Exhibition will be until Friday, October 2nd.
I didn't mention that I'm also honored to won “Nessa Cohen Grant" from The Art Students League of New York in May, 2009. At that time, I submitted a few other prints and included “The Red Thread” as well.
9月27日に第67回オデュボンアーティスツの定期展のレセプションで第三位のマーキュイス（アメリカの出版社による著名人の略歴を掲載した年鑑版紳士録）フーズフー・イン・アメリカン･アート賞を受賞しました。私の作品”赤い糸”は可なり上の方で観ずらい場所に展示されてましたが、賞を頂いて文句は言えません。
忙しかったのでブログに何も書いてませんでしたが、実は、今年5月にネセ・コーヘン･グラント（奨学金）を受賞しました。今回受賞した”赤い糸"と他の版画数点の提出にて頂きました。こんなに続けで頂いて、本当に有難く感謝してます。これから今以上にもっといい作品の製作をしないと...少々プレッシャーです。

Received a Prize. ﾚｻﾞｰｽﾄｯｷﾝｸﾞ･ﾘｼﾞｪﾝ賞を受賞

I received "Leatherstocking Region FCU Prize" from 18th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition "Essential Art", Cooperstown Art Association. If you go to near Cooperstown, New York, please stop by and see my new etching and aquatint " A Red thread". Information I'd had the idea one year ago. It took to create this print for over four months.
ニューヨークのアップスティートのクーパーズタウンでエッセンシャル･アート展, 第18回定期公募展に初めて応募、入賞そして、レザーストッキング･リジェンFUC賞を受賞。レザーストッキング？聞きなれない言葉で、古語みたいで、何やら高級なめし皮ブーツのことらしです。詳しく意味を知りたいと思ってます。作品のアイデアは1年前からで、製作に約4ヶ月以上掛かった作品なので、受賞は嬉しいです。

Lucky Year... 今年は...

I received the Hannibal DeBellis & Richman Sculpture Award - 125th Annual Members' Exhibition, Salmagundi Club last week. The sculpture "Aran" sat on the TV cabinet a long time. I've not submitted it to any exhibitions. I'm honored to receive this award, and I think Aran must be proud as well.
今年は私にとって本当にいい年で、先日第125回サルマガンディ クラブ メンバーズ展でﾊｰﾆﾊﾞﾙ ﾃﾞｭﾍﾞﾙ& ﾘｯﾁﾏﾝ ｽｶﾙﾌﾟﾁｬ 賞を受賞しました。
アランの彫刻はずっとテレビキャビネットの上に置いていて、どこの展示会にも出展していなかったんです。9月にアランの彫刻を本人に贈呈したブログを書いた時、次のメンバーズ展に出展する事を決めていました。今回の受賞は、私にとってもとても光栄な事ですが、きっとアランも嬉しく思ってくれると思います。

Won the Medal of Honor. 彫刻部門で一位のメダルオブオーナーを受賞！

The photos are when I was receiving the CLWAC Medal of Honor from 112th Annual Juried Exhibition Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club at National Arts Club in October 15th and my Sculpture and myself. I was so happy to receive it.
The sculpture "Sorina" presents a female character whose tranquil, contemplative gaze is intended to suggests wisdom and inner strength.

I've been so busy since last month because I've had totally five group shows for two months that's why I could post anything.　

彫刻部門第一位のCLWACﾒﾀﾞﾙ ｵﾌﾞ ｵｰﾅｰを第112回ｷｬｻﾘﾝ ﾛｰﾘﾗｰﾄﾞ ｳｫﾙﾌ ｱｰﾄ ｸﾗﾌﾞ定期公募展にて受賞し作品ソリーナと受賞式の写真です。ソリーナは私が架空の女性をイメージして製作した作品です。

先月そして今月と忙しくてブログが書けませんでした。

ｸﾞﾙｰﾌﾟ 展がこの2ヶ月で5つもあり大変でした。１週間程リラックス出来るかなと思ってます。これから年末にかけてまた忙しくなります。もう10月末､約2ヶ月で今年も終わりですね。何だか時間の経つのが本当に早くて､怖いぐらいです。

Received an Award! ゴールドブラシ賞を受賞!

I had the reception and the award ceremony of Audubon Artists 66th Annual Juried Exhibition in September 21. I received The Jack Richeson Co. & Gold Brush Award. My painting was accepted and won the Award. I'm so happy to receive it. Here are the pictures of the reception at Salmagundi Club. It's titled Dancing Crane, the pink abstract painting in the upper picture.

9月21日オディボン アーティスツ第66回定期公募展のレセプションがありました。私の抽象画がゴールドブラシ賞を受賞しました。私のﾀﾞﾝｼﾝｸﾞ･ｸﾚｲﾝ, が入選した事,そして,賞を受賞してとっても嬉しいです。来てくれた皆様ありがとうございました。写真はレセプションの様子です。

It was the reception of Merit Scholarship Winners Exhibition (The exhibition of work by winners of the Art Students League's 2007 merit scholarship competition) last night. My old friends came and congratulated me on the exhibition and receiving the Award that I also won The Michael Ponce de Leon Printmaking Award the same time. I had not seen some of them for four or five years. So I was very happy to see them.

メリットスカラシィップ受賞者展のレセプションが6月19日にありました。私の古い友人が来てくれて、嬉しいサプライスでした。私を含めて32名の展覧会で賑やかなレセプションになりました。皆さん来てくれてありがとうございました。
この展覧会はArt Students League of New York , 2floor Gallery(215West 57thStreet, NY, NY)で7月9日まで開催しています。
