Old drawing

I thought I didn't save many pictures of my drawings but I found this drawing I drew about eight years ago I guess.
I tried blind contour drawing for the outline and then making shadows on it.
ほとんどドローイングは保存していなくてこれは約8年前の残っていました。アウトラインを手元を見ずに描いていく手法で、その後、影などは用紙を見ながら付け加えました。

While taking a college drawing and composition class (many years ago) my professor told me to never throw anything away. He also told me to never use both sides of the paper, that each piece could be a work of art... Well, I only listen partially. Throughout the years I have thrown away so much work, trashed drawings, paintings, and smashed sculptures that didn't meet up to my expectations. In the past five years I have been better at keeping more. I don't throw away sketchbooks, and my garden and property are great places for sculptures I don't intend on selling (or trying to sell). You have great talent, I enjoy seeing new projects and the different phases they go through. You are much better at documenting your work then I am.

I threw the most my drawings away. I also threw some casted sculptures made by plaster away too but I've kept all paintings. My all drawings were studies that's why I didn't keep them. If I could draw like you, of cause I save. You have a lot of the creative drawings on the sketch book that I like.
Usually I don't take any photos for the drawings but this old drawing I took a photo to save on my computer long time ago.

After I started using the scanner on my printer, it became easy to keep the sketchbook images. I just mailed off the sketchbook project off to Atlanta. The theme was how to save the world. I always feel nervous dropping a sketchbook off in the mail. I wonder if I will ever see it again. At least many of the images are documented. Take care.

Oh! yes. You have the scanner. That's Good. It must be easy to save the drawings on the sketchbook.

Is "How to save the world" the exhibition? Congratulations!
I think only your sketchbook won't mail back, that means it will be sold out. So don't worry~~~!

Thanks, I wish I would have scanned all the pages... I didn't unfortunately. I do believe I will get it back.
